Crimex search widget: test page

This is a stand-in host page with its own font, to show the widget inheriting it. Enter a postcode (for example S9 1XU). In the pop-out widget (the recommended one) the Crimex results open in a dialog on this page; the search-only widgets open the report in a new tab. This page is a test and is not indexed.

Privacy: widget registrations

When you ask for the widget code we store your email address, the website you give us (or, if you leave it blank, the site your browser says you came from), the time, the consent wording you agreed to, whether you ticked the separate updates box and the separate partner box (and when), and a one-way hash of your IP address (not the address itself). We use this to provide the widget code and to keep a record of who uses it; each sign-up is also emailed to info@crimex.co.uk.

We send you Crimex updates only if you tick the updates box; it is never ticked for you.

There is a second, separate, optional box (also never ticked for you): if you tick it, we share only your email address with software companies who may contact you about related services. It is separate from Crimex updates, and we record that you ticked it and when. Partners only ever receive email addresses from people who ticked that box. You can withdraw this consent at any time by emailing info@crimex.co.uk, after which we stop sharing your email address.

We keep your registration until you ask us to remove it: email info@crimex.co.uk to see, correct or delete it, or to withdraw consent.

Data: police.uk, Open Government Licence v3.0. The "Powered by Crimex" credit is a link to crimex.co.uk (opens in a new tab) and shows by default; it can be hidden for keys flagged for it (data-key).
